If you love your way more than GOD who is the original word, as close as we can get, its easy to follow a man, religion or church. The holy spirit in your heart leads you to all the truth you ask for... So drop your shield, we are all on the same team. 99% of the people would love to get out of here in a rapture and watch the fight from the sky. So, to believe the rapture is false and the trick of Satan, you have to accept that and lose the hope that any second now, you may disappear, and leave your clothes on the bed, or in your car, or on your chair... Like Left Behind. On the other side, Jesus said when asked where are the ones that are taken (tares). He says where the eagles fly... (that word means peace eagles or vultures)... Watch the movie SKYLINE and wonder... Are we that are against the rapture against christians that believe, or like me, take the time out of their day and do all we can to try to prove to rapture believers the truth for THEM. We serve our brothers. All of us were mislead at some time and as we mature into perfection aka adulthood and become able to eat the meat of the word, we can see that there is a lot more to the story... Myron Dafoe Actually Don, your definition is incorrect. In Hebrews Paul uses two different words. "Cloud" and "witnesses" are two different words. G3509 is used for cloud(which by the way is not G3507 that is used in Thessalonians for "clouds"), and G3144 is used for witnesses.

Don Heath The literal meanings of 3507 and 3509 are basically the same thing. The prime word for 3507 is 3509. They are both translated as cloud or clouds.

So that doesn't change the idiom or how it is used figuratively other than you could possibly see 3507 as being a larger bunch of clouds therefore when used as an idiom 3507 would be a larger group than 3509.

Don Heath Even in English we use that same Greek idiom for cloud or clouds.

If someone told you there were clouds of smoke, clouds of bees, clouds of locusts or clouds of mosquitoes we would understand the figure of speech meaning there's a large group or mass.

Obviously the Greeks used the same idiom with the word cloud or clouds before we even had an English language.
